Zohran Mamdani Vows a 'Dawn' for NYC in First Address
During an first day in office, Zohran Mamdani vowed to “reimagine” the metropolis, promising “a different age” and an audacious start to his administration.
A Historic Mayor
The young political star, who was a relatively obscure state assemblyman, now stands as the city's first mayor of South Asian descent. He additionally marked a milestone by being the first to be sworn in using the Qur'an.
