The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of personalities, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the team knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and best friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could assist the group enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are hunted by the rulers that rule the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to round up the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can anticipate learning which players will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
