Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star boasts considerable online following

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent backers when she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates several international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa practically told me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him rather occupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions recently and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.

However she can get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the competition, such as second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, specifically with younger fans.

The social media influencer maintains millions of followers and has started an exclusive fashion and living brand.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
